Meet Ainsley Ashby
Ainsley Ashby is the creator of Globetrotter, a lively daily comic strip that captures the joy, chaos, and comedy of travel through the eyes of Chloe, a bold, curious, and endlessly enthusiastic world explorer. With a background in illustration and a storyteller’s heart, Ainsley brings Chloe’s adventures to life with wit, warmth, and a sharp eye for the little details that make travel so wonderfully unpredictable.
Ainsley’s comic inspiration is deeply personal: she’s lived in Canada, Norway, Germany, and England, and explored more than 35 countries. From cultural quirks to airport meltdowns, Globetrotter reflects the real, ridiculous, and relatable side of discovering the world, drawn from Ainsley’s own globetrotting experiences.
Before launching Globetrotter in 2022, Ainsley created standout visuals for top-tier brands in advertising, health, tech, publishing, and entertainment. Her illustration work has appeared in major projects for Edelman, Ben Sherman, ADA Diamonds in partnership with Rolls-Royce and more — blending creative energy with clean execution across both digital and traditional media.
